HUNDREDS of CBS The Green students took part in a ‘Pancake Tuesday’ fundraiser at the school.
Some students headed to the new ‘Breakfast Club’ kitchen to make pancakes for their fellow pupils. Teachers and pupils brought in cakes while Garvey’s Supervalu in Tralee also sponsored the goodies.
Students could then buy the pancakes and buns for 50c or a €1 each and all funds went towards the ‘Breakfast Club’ kitchen, the equipment for which was sponsored by local businesses.
The ‘Breakfast Club’ provides a place for students who come in early to meet up in a friendly atmosphere and have a cup of tea and some toast, cereal and juice. Scroll down for photos…
