IT’S been another busy week at CBS The Green with students taking part in two separate events involving great causes.

First of all, last Friday saw students don their Christmas Jumpers for the Radio Kerry St Vincent de Paul appeal. Many of the students took part – along with some staff members — and raised €500 for charity.

Then yesterday saw students take part in ‘Feelgood Friday’ to highlight the importance of positive mental health. The day began with a ‘Walk and Talk’ for TY students around the Town Park to promote the importance of exercise for good mental health.

The students were also encouraged to talk with their friends as they walked to highlight the importance of sharing any anxieties or worries they might have, rather than ‘bottle it up’.

This was followed by a similar walk for the other years and a talk with Donogh Hennebery of Jigsaw Kerry which promoted positive mental health. Scroll down for photos…
