TWO nights of great entertainment came to a close on Thursday when CBS students staged ‘A Wake In The West’ at the school.
Transition Year students tread the boards for a public performance last night and there was a fantastic response from the audience who thoroughly enjoyed it.
Written by Michael J Kennelly, the comedy is set during the wake of Tom Healy who drank himself to his eternal rest and now appears to have wished his grave to be a watery one by requesting cremation and the scattering of his ashes at sea.
The antics on stage had audiences entertained on both nights; students, staff and families attended on Wednesday, while there was a huge crowd also on Thursday.
Having put on ‘The Field’ last year now ‘A Wake In The West’, who knows what they’ll come up with in 2017. Scroll down for photos…
