IT was a colourful Friday at CBS The Green as two events were held in the school.
The school participated in the Radio Kerry Christmas Jumper Day in aid of St Vincent de Paul, which saw staff and students don their finest festive attire for the great cause.
It was also a day to showcase the best of students’ entrepreneurial skills in the Transition Year Enterprise Day. It’s all part of the Student Enterprise Programme running in the county and nationally.

“We’re holding our TY Enterprise Christmas Fair where students have designed a product or service that are showcasing today,” said teacher Caroline Crowley.
“This is their chance to access their target market for sales in the school and of course they’ll also sell outside the school. It’s all promoted on our school instagram and their personal instagram pages.”
“We had the Green Environmental winner in last year’s county competition so we’re hopeful for more success this year,” said Caroline.
The students projects ranged from selling sports jerseys, club branding ideas, sports bags, a car wash service, chess tournament and a whole lot more. Scroll down for photos…
