PHOTOS: Chain Gang Cycling Club Holds Coffee Morning In Aid Of Ukraine

THE people of Tralee have been showing their solidarity with the people of Ukraine over the past week since the Russian invasion and local sports clubs are also getting involved.

On Friday, members of the Chain Gang Cycling Club hosted a coffee morning at The Meadowlands Hotel for and the response was amazing, eventually raising €5,000.

One member of the club, Brian Neenan, informed residents in Meadowlands estate (where he lives) about the fundraiser and over €500 was dropped off to his house by residents even before the coffee morning started.

The club also made a collection before their weekly cycle on Saturday morning to add to the funds. Members of the club thanked everyone for donating and The Meadowlands Hotel for their assistance and sizeable donation. Scroll down for photos…
