PHOTOS: Children Enjoy Science Week Event At IT Tralee

A FAMILY showcase event took place at IT Tralee’s North Campus on Saturday, as part of National Science Week and again it was a massive success.

The daylong event offered a vast array of fun, educational and interactive events for all ages including VR experiences, scientific testing, robotics, weather forecasting, electric vehicle display, sustainable food making, zoology, book reading, children’s sustainable recycling workshop, slime experiments and much more.

It was a fantastic day of free entertainment and there was wonder in the children’s eyes at the range of activities available to them. Well done to IT Tralee for facilitating such a lovely event for families.

Kerry Science Festival is an Institute of Technology Tralee initiative and is developed by a team representing education and industry across Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) from the Kerry region area, funded by Science Foundation Ireland. Scroll down for photos…
