THE Kerry Diocesan Youth Centre (KDYS), Tralee, said goodbye today to one of its long serving employees, Christine Coffey, after 20 years with the organisation.
Over 30 employees and volunteers gathered to show Chris their gratitude and support. The KDYS acknowledged Christine’s contribution to the work of the organisation and thanked her for her dedication to children and young people.
Christine first got involved in 1996, when she became a volunteer Youth Club Leader in her area.
During her 20 years with the KDYS, Christine worked in various roles, such as Childcare Co-ordinator, Fundraiser, Afterschool Co-ordinator and Family Support Worker.
Her interest and commitment to children and young people mean she will be sorely missed, but is wished well all at KDYS on her next adventure. Scroll down for photos…
