FOUR students with artistic talent from around the county received prizes today as part the Kerry Education & Training Board Christmas Card Art Competition.
Kerry ETB ran its annual Christmas card competition which is open to all students in the eight Kerry ETB Schools and there was a high standard of entry from all areas.
On Monday afternoon, the overall winners and three runners-up were presented with prizes at the Kerry ETB offices at Centrepoint on the John Joe Sheehy Road.
Jeannie Bobiles, a 2nd Year Student Castleisland Community College, was the overall winner.
Jeannie’s Card will be printed by Kingdom Printers (who sponsored the printing) and will be the official Kerry ETB Christmas Card. She also received a 10” Go Tab kindly sponsored by Harvey Normans.
The three runners-up were Amelia Ginisole, Coláiste na Ríochta, Listowel; Hazel Riordan, Killarney Community College and Christobal Montes, Coláiste na Ríochta, Listowel.
They will each receive a €30 One for All Voucher. Their cards will be used as E cards for Kerry ETB.
Kerry ETB thanked all the students who took part and congratulate the winners and their art teachers, Kingdom Printers and Harvey Norman for their sponsorship.
