THE National Circus of Ireland Festival came to an end on Sunday afternoon with a colourful parade through the town centre.

Shoppers were greeted with the sight of Con Horgan of the Fanzini Brothers leading the way with the Samba Cuisle Band, stilt-walkers and other entertainers brightening up Sunday afternoon in Tralee.

Con Horgan was delighted with the festival and the attendances at workshops.

“It was our most successful year ever. We had really high numbers at the events. The Falcon show on Saturday night in the Square was beautiful with acrobats and fire-breathing. The four-day convention was also well attended and we had a new space in the Tralee Gymnastics Hall which was incredible,” said Con.

The parade made its way to the Square where there was a performance from Kamchátka a theatre group from Catalonia to close the festival. Scroll down for photos…
