A GREAT night was had at John Mitchels Lip Syng Battle in Ballygarry House Hotel on Saturday night as contestants kept it spooky with a Halloween theme!
‘Wrong Direction’ members James Duggan, Akeem Malloy, Jonathon O’Halloran and Mikey Walsh unleashed their inner popstars and were crowned overall winners on the night.
MC Brian Hurley did a fantastic night in getting the audience excited and involved in what was a great night for the club.
The John Mitchels club secured excellent judges for the night, including the well-known PR guru and broadcaster John Drummey; Cllr Terry O’Brien; beauty blogger Mary O’Donnell and Anne O’Donnell of Siamsa fame who knows a thing or two about dancing.
The money raised from the Lip Syng will be used for the development of the Club both at Juvenile and Senior level. Some of the acts taking parts were George Lowe; Donna Flaherty; Nadia Woods; Aileen Galvin, Debbie Guerin, Wayne Enright, Jordan Bowler; Jonathan O’Halloran, Akeem Molloy, Mikey Walsh, James Duggan; Rosemary Broderick, Cliona Caplis; Michael O’Donovan, Elaine Conway, Liz Nickleson, Gail Lowe; Denis Mannix, Mary Higgins.
