SOME lucky children seized a great opportunity to meet this year’s Roses in the Wetland’s when the selection were given a civic reception on Friday afternoon.
The Roses, were only too happy to stop, chat and taking photos with kids at the Wetlands even though they were taking a break from the engagements they had earlier on in the day.
First they met in the Town Park, for the official opening of the Rose Walway. Then they travelled the short distance up the road to the Bons for a visit, before making their way to the Wetlands for a civic reception.
