BANK of Ireland on Castle Street was the venue for the opening event of the Tralee Food Festival this afternoon.

Experts and local producers were in attendance for ‘The Business Of Food’, held as part of the Taste Kerry Food Series in association with Bank of Ireland Workbench.

There were panel discussions on financial wellbeing in the food industry, how to market online and on food tourism. Speakers included Dee Laffan of Food and Wine Ireland, John Harty of Taste Kerry and Arty Clifford from Blás na Éireann.

There were also food stands from Once Upon A Cheese and The Gluten Free Kitchen for customers who wanted a chance to sample their goods. Scroll down for photos…
