AFTER the dreadful weather on Friday, the weather cleared up well for the 188 participants in the Ardfert Harvest Cycle on Saturday morning.
The yard at Ardfert National School was buzzing with people as Big Jim got them warmed up belting out tunes from his soundsystem.
There was coffee, tea barm brack and cakes for the participants to fuel up on before they left on their routes – a choice of 40k or 80k – taking in the sights of the area from Abbeydorney, Ballyduff, Ballyheigue, Banna, Churchill and back to the school where there were more refreshments laid on.
A great day out and all proceeds raised on the day went to the school. Scroll down for photos…
