TOURISM stakeholders from around the county attended a special event in Killarney on Thursday.

Fáilte Ireland launched its 2023 plans  to help drive sustainable recovery of tourism at a regional tourism industry briefing in the INEC Killarney.

Head of the Wild Atlantic Way, Miriam Kennedy, gave details on plans for the region this year, including new project developments, marketing campaigns and regional tourism strategies.

Fáilte Ireland’s plans in 2023 focus on 7 key areas: Business Recovery; Tourism Careers ; Domestic Marketing; Opening the Outdoors; Industry Digitalisation; Destination Development  and Climate Action. The event was attended by people involved in all aspects of tourism in Kerry.
