RESIDENTS in Criolar na Mistealach turned out in force on Saturday for a family fun day to get the community together.
There was food and refreshments, a bouncy castle and a DJ there to entertain all and everyone enjoyed themselves in one of Tralee’s newest estates.
“We’re only after starting out here in the estate about 18 months,” said James O’Sullivan, Chairman of the Criolar na Mistealach Residents Committee.
“We had a Christmas party and that turned out brilliant so we decided to have a family fun day. It’s going fantastic, everything went off perfect and we had a blessing of the estate with a DJ and bouncy castle for the kids,” said James.
“There’s 18 houses here in the estate and we collect €5 from each resident towards the cost of the party. It’s all to try to get people together for the good of the community. Many of the residents would be originally from the Mitchels area but we have new arrivals of other nationalities also,” said James.
