THE sun shone down on Kingdom Greyhound Stadium on Friday night as hundreds enjoyed the Kerry GAA Night of Champions on Friday.
The Kerry football stars were out in force and happily posed with fans for photos and signed autographs while the young ones also enjoyed a bouncy castle and face painting.
The feature race was once again the “Race of Champions” sponsored for the first time by Navillus with €15,000 to the winner ‘Slippy Cian’ .

The Kerry Group sponsored Club Sweepstake was also a popular race where clubs were twinned with dogs. A prize fund of up to €4,000 was shared by clubs twinned with the dogs that reached the final but in the end it was Keel and Skellig Rangers who sponsored winning dog Cashen Kaboodle.
There was also a raffle for 6 prizes, with the 1st prize an overnight stay in a Dublin hotel and 2 tickets for either the All Ireland football or hurling final.
The popular best dressed lady competition was sponsored by Diane Jeffers of the Jasmine Boutique and there was also music and entertainment on a night when many thousands were raised for Kerry GAA. Scroll down for photos…
