FOR a morning that started off with driving rain, the participants in the Santa 5k Run were blessed with the weather come 11am on Sunday, as they went off from the Tralee Bay Wetlands Centre.
Hundreds of people took part in the run which, this year, was for Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children. There was great colour too with elves, Santas and other characters taking to the road.
The event is organised in memory of Fiona Moore, of Caherslee who passed away in 2013 and raises much needed funds for deserving children’s charities. Scroll down for photos…
