THE Phoenix Women’s Centre and Shed and Paco Tralee hosted a fashion show on Thursday at the Pipers’ Band Hall on Matt Talbot Road in Tralee.
The new location for the Phoenix group’s events is proving very popular since they started hosting get-togethers there in late June.
Eileen Whelan from Paco was delighted to organise the show and over 50 women were in attendance to see the latest fashions from Paco.

“The models are ladies who have joined the Women’s Shed and some of our committee members,” said Sheila Martin of the Phoenix Women’s Centre. “We’ve over 40 members of the Shed since we started in the summer and they come here every Thursday.”
We’ve had a series of events and workshops here including yoga, tai-chi, Shakra dancing, pebble painting and all manner of things,” added Sheila.
Ladies were treated to the show and small donations were made to cover the cost of the teas and goodies available and towards any future events. Scroll down for photos…
