A GORGEOUS Saturday morning provided a wonderful opportunity for families to enjoy seeing the young boys and girls of two schools make their First Holy Communion.

Fifteen pupils from Blennerville NS took the sacrament in St Brendan’s Church Curraheen, while 33 youngsters from Moyderwell enjoyed the big day in St John’s Church.

When it was all over, pupils were able to enjoy the sunshine and pose for photos before heading off with their families for private celebrations.
