IT was a very busy day for Fr Padraig Walsh at Our Lady and St Brendan’s Church on Saturday as he oversaw the First Holy Communions of over 60 pupils from Scoil Eoin Balloonagh.
Because of Government guidelines, there had to be three separate services — one for each class — but that didn’t diminish the enthusiasm of the children and their families who had waited so long for the big day.
