PHOTOS: Fleadh Cheoil Kicks Off With Concert At Rose Hotel

THE official opening of the Fleadh Cheoil Chiarraí took place at the Rose Hotel last night, kicking off four days of competitions and entertainment in town.

Thousands of contestants and trad music lovers are expected in town until Sunday with a host of sessions on the streets and concerts in the evenings.

Last night’s official opening was followed by ‘Comóradh 1916’ which was enthusiastically received by the large audience present.
