IT was a night to remember in the Brandon Hotel on Saturday as 47 performers took to the stage in the Lip Sync Battle for the Ballyduff GAA Ball Wall.
There were over 800 tickets sold for the event and it looked like most of them turned up as all seats were taken in the Brandon Hotel conference centre.
Comedian Alan Shortt was a great MC for the evening which began with all performers taking the stage for a hilarious medley (click here our video of it ICYMI).

Then it was the turn of the 12 acts, made up of solo performers, duos, families and many more, to strut their stuff and mime to the music.
The high level of entertainment was maintained throughout the evening, leaving judges Kerry TD Michael Healy Rae, Elaine Kinsella of Radio Kerry and PR guru and Ballyduff native Brian Purcell with a difficult choice to make.
In the end, they went for ‘The Wild Swans’ made up of Liam Houlihan, Margaret Houlihan, Kathleen Curtin and Mairead Houlihan.
The audience award went to Mary’s Lambz featuring Kevin Ross, Kevin Maguire, Mary O’Sullivan, Martina Rochford and Nora Falvey.
A great night then, no doubt raising a lot of cash for the club’s plans to construct a ball wall and astroturf multi-purpose playing area. Scroll down for 30 photos of people attending and of the performers on stage…
