Presentation Primary School’s Active Week came to a fitting finale on Friday when the annual school sports took place.
There was some doubt during the week if the weather would improve and allow the event take place, but the decision to go ahead proved a good one.
The event was organised by the school staff with assistance from Parents Association and former pupils, now in Pres. Secondary School.

A full and varied programme was run off like clockwork from 9.30 am to 2.30 pm with all the pupils being divided into a designated mixed classes team, sporting coloured tee-shirts for identification.
Events held in various locations around the school grounds were Basketball; Obstacle Course; Sack races/egg & spoon, 3-legged race; bouncy castles; beanbag hoopla; dodgeball; skipathon; pigeons nests.
Points won during the day made for an exciting finish, with this year’s medals being presented by school principal, Pat Sayer to the White Team. But in truth, everyone was a winner on the day for participation and team spirit. Scroll down for photos by Adrienne McLoughlin…
