HUNDREDS of people packed themselves into the Ballygarry House Hotel on Thursday night for the launch of Kieran Donaghy’s autobiography What Do You Think Of That?
Along with Maurice Fitzgerald and Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh, who helped launch the account of the Stacks man’s life, were other legends of Gaelic Football scattered around the room on the night.
Kerry players past and present included, Mick O’Dwyer, Eoin ‘Bomber’ Liston, Darragh Ó Sé, David Moran, Aidan O’Mahony, Declan O’Sullivan, Johnny Buckley, Darran O’Sullivan, Donnchadh Walsh, Liam Hassett and Pa Laide.
Northern men, Benny Coulter (Down) and Stevie McDonnell (Armagh) made the long journey south while Coleman Corrigan gave his blessing from across the border in Cork.
The night began with Donaghy greeting people on arrival and posing for more than a few photos. It was followed by the launch itself and afterwards the Star signed copies of the book for many of those that bought it on the night.
If last night is anything to go by, his latest venture is set to be an enormous success. Scroll down for photos of people attending on the night…
