GAELCHOLAISTE Chiarraí’s Coiste Gaeilge received An Gaelbhratach in Dublin this week where they met music group Seo Linn and students from 80 other schools.
An Gaelbhratach is a purple flag that gives the school recognition for the promotion of Irish outside of the classroom.
It’s the schools 4th year in a row recieving the flag. The Coiste Gaeilge had had an extremely busy year organising events like 5k run in park, céilí, Tráth na gCeist, Biongó, maidin caifé in the library, cake sale, guest speakers and much more.
In other activities, last Friday a group of 5th year students took a trip to the beautiful blasket Island and they certainly had an amazing day for it. Scroll down for photos…
