GAELSCOIL Mhic Easmainn’s hall was packed on Sunday as they held their annual Christmas Fair.
Parents and children enjoyed a great day’s entertainment with some amazing hampers and goodies up for grabs in the raffles and auction, while all proceeds went back into the school.
There was also stalls selling bric-a-brac, books and more, while the Christmas wreaths also proved popular. Santa also made an appearance much to the delight of the younger kids in attendance.

“A lot of work went into today but it’s worth it as it raises a lot of money for the school,” said Liz Forster, Co-Chairperson of the Parents Association (with Niamh Dowling).
“We reached €6,000 but we hope to exceed it this year. Everyone’s been amazing from the public here today to the parents who did so much. Some of them spent five hours here yesterday getting the hall ready. They also collected loads of prizes for the raffles and auctions from local businesses.”
There truly was a fantastic atmosphere in the school and much credit is due for putting on such a great event. Scroll down for photos…
