A DRY night and a great atmosphere helped kick off the Garveys Supervalu series of walks to coincide with the launch of Operation Transformation this week.
The ‘Garvey’s FitCrew’, were joined at the start by members of Garvey’s Tralee Warriors and Head Coach Mark Bernsen, who encouraged the fine turnout present to persevere with the exercise and commended Garvey’s on the wide selection of healthy food instore.

The series of walks/runs around the town take place over an 8-week period, so if you missed last night don’t worry, you can pick it up next Tuesday night at 6.30pm and again on Thursday at the same time.
Each week, two different routes are planned in order to meet the fitness levels of every individual.
The store provides Operation Transformation weekly recipes from week 1 to week 8. All of the ingredients for these recipes can be found throughout the store.
As an incentive to keep everyone motivated, Garveys provided Week 1-8 cards which will be stamped after each walk and there will be a draw at the end of the two months to win vouchers for the store or gym membership. Scroll down for photos…
