IT’S clear that sixth class pupils will leave with priceless memories of their time at St Brendan’s NS in Blennerville, after a graduation ceremony was held at the school on Tuesday evening.
After a blessing from Fr Francis Nolan and some words from Principal Robbie O’Connell, the pupils showed short video in which each of them looked back on the fun times and declared their hopes for the future.
This provided great entertainment for their families and school staff watching on and afterwards, Mr O’Connell, who is in his first year as Principal of the school, paid tribute to the 18 pupils.

“It’s always sad to see the sixth class pupils leave. This particular group are fun and always animated! They’ll certainly be missed with all the energy they provided. We wish them all the best. With them being my first sixth class in the school, I’m very proud of them.”
Each pupil also received a special hoodie and pen from the school and afterwards posed for photos. Best of luck to them as they prepare to take the next step in their educational journey. Scroll down for photos…
