IT was a special evening on Wednesday as pupils from Holy Family graduated after eight years in primary school.

A Mass was celebrated in the school assembly area followed by a few words from Principal Ed O’Brien who spoke highly of the Class of 2018 and wished them well in their future education. He also paid tribute to the class teacher, Pat Ó Conchúir, who prepared them so well during the final year.

Afterwards the Principal told TraleeToday.ie they would be missed and commended them for the hard work put in over the years.

“They have lovely families and they soldiered on through thick and thin over the years — through sport, achievement, tests, competitions and all that goes along with the primary school experience. The parents played their part too through support and being there in so many ways for the children,” said Mr O’Brien.
