IT was a super day of football at the annual John Mitchels football blitz for u10s and u8s at the Camp, Ballyseedy grounds on Saturday.
While the U8 played for fun, the Churchill 10s won the tournament by winning an impressive six games out of six.
The cup was presented to captain Sean Hickey who himself excelled at midfield. They beat off the competition of finalists John Mitchel’s who won five out of six games, but became unstuck against a very impressive Churchill side.
The club thanked all of the teams, parents, mentors, ground staff, referees and especially Kevin McMahon who made the day a brilliant experience for all. Scroll down for photos…
