THE opening night of the Light Opera Society of Tralee production of Les Miserables ‘School Edition’ took place in Siamsa Tire on Thursday.
‘Les Mis’ is being performed with a live orchestra and a gifted cast of fresh young talents drawn from Tralee and schools from further afield.
Leading the cast is 5th Year CBS The Green student, Alan McLoughlin as Valjean. Mounthawk Secondary School student Tracy O’Keeffe, played the romantic lead role alongside Presentation Secondary school, Milltown’s Cormac Sertutxa.
One of the world’s most famous musicals will run at the theatre until Saturday night. Booking is from Siamsa Tire box-office on 066 7123055.
