THE rain subsided and the sun shone as runners took to the road for the Tralee 10 Miler/5k Race on Saturday morning.
Michelle Greaney of MG Coaching organised the event and was delighted with the turnout. “We had 280 registered so we’re very happy. The 10 Miler was very popular this year and while the 5k numbers was slightly down I’m thrilled with the turnout.”
The 10 Miler runners took off just after 11am from near The Rose Hotel while the 5k race started from the Dan Spring Road 15 minutes later.
