AS we reported earlier (click here for previous coverage), Thursday saw students from the School of Health and Social Sciences conferred with degrees at the Brandon Conference Centre.
They were some of the close on 1,000 IT Tralee students attending graduation ceremonies on Thursday and Friday.
The graduation was a special occasion for the graduates themselves, their families and friends and many stayed on in town to celebrate in restaurants and bars, thus also creating a boost for the hospitality sector in town.

President of the Institute, Dr. Oliver Murphy paid tribute to all of the graduates and their families for what they have achieved, whilst wishing all of those being conferred well in their future endeavours. “I would like to congratulate all of our graduates, their families and friends. Graduation is a day to be cherished. It marks the beginning of a new chapter in our graduates’ lives.
