THE famous CH Chemists was heaving on Friday evening as the store held its annual Christmas customer evening.
The annual event is growing every year and they came in their hundreds to get great discounts as the Christmas shopping season gets into full swing. There was mulled wine and cookies to get people into the festive spirit too.
“It’s a night to give something back to our loyal customers throughout the year,” explained Kevin Reardon, General Manager of CH Chemists.
“We give up to 20% discounts in the gift hall, 15% in fragrance and cosmetics and we have 750 goodie bags which customers can get if they spend more than €10…while they last. There’s also a draw for a €500 hamper,” added Kevin.
That hamper was won by Suzanne Corbett who can look forward to a very happy Christmas.
The next big event is on Saturday when CH hold their annual Christmas parade through town to coincide with the official turning on of the Christmas lights.
