THE training was completed, now all they had to do was run it!
Three hundred runners gathered at the Aqua Dome this morning for the start of the Kerry’s Eye Tralee International Marathon with everyone in good spirits for the gruelling 26 miles ahead.
The misty rain arrived just as they were starting off, but that would hardly faze these runners who faced far more challenging factors than a bit of moisture.
As I write this (11.35am), many runners are still on the course so best of luck to them. Scroll down for short video and many photos below…
