THERE was a terrific turnout yet again for the annual Na Gaeil GAA Club cycle.
Organisers say around 300 donned their helmets and set off from their Killeen base on the route, which took them over to Castleisland and back, with funds raised going towards the club.
The weather held as the cyclists, including many young members of the club, made their way on the route before returning for refreshments.
“We had over 300 which is the best year yet,” said Theresa Kelliher at the club. “We had great support in the club with people making sandwiches and apple pies and so on for the participants when they got back. We have great volunteers and everyone we asked helped out.”
