THEY came to be entertained and they certainly weren’t disappointed at Ballygarry House Hotel last night at the second John Mitchels GAA ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The eleven couples performed brilliantly in front of about 650 people, including judges Michael Healy Rae TD, Cllr Toireasa Ferris, dance teacher Joanne O’Connor and beauty expert Mary O’Donnell.
The dancers from Tenacity School of Performing Arts kicked off proceedings before MC Brian Hurley introduced the opening dance which thrilled the audience, ending with an imaginative group selfie.
It was up to the public to decide the winner and in the end Karen O’Connor and Brendan Dillane were victorious and will donate their €500 prize to their chosen charities, Animal Health Net Kerry on behalf of Karen and to Kerry Hospice on behalf of Brendan.
The money raised from Strictly will be used for the development of the Club at Juvenile and Senior level. Scroll down for photos (we’ll have more later today)…
