PHOTOS: KCFE Hosts Fundraising Health Promotion Day

KERRY College of Further Education held a Health Promotion Day organised by the Physiotherapy Assistant and Sports Therapy Students on Tuesday.

The college’s all weather astro-turf was used for activities such as a Crossbar Challenge, Penalty Shoot Outs, Volley Ball etc.

The student body also benefited from Health and Fitness Screening carried out by the Emergency Care Students.

Some students indulged in beauty treatments courtesy of the Beauty Therapy trainees and there was also sports massage on offer from the Physiotherapy/Sports Therapy students.

There was significant teamwork evident among the students the event was part of their Event Management, Health Promotion and Teamwork modules being delivered as part of their courses. All proceeds from the day will go to St Patrick’s Day Care Centre, Tralee.

Kerry College of Further Education fosters a culture of community spirit among their student body and this is another example of the students giving back to the community. Scroll down for photos…
