OK, it wasn’t a great day in Croke Park yesterday but Kerry people travelled in their thousands to the game and made themselves heard.
We were there to capture the atmosphere under the Hogan Stand on a day best forgotten for the men in green and gold.
They came from all over the county and beyond to support Kerry. We even met a father and son from Duleek in Co. Meath who, despite not having any family connections to Kerry, always go to support the lads in Croke Park and Munster finals.
You’ll notice most people are smiling in the photographs below. They were clearly take before the match started! You can be sure come August we’ll be back in Croker and the mood will be a lot different afterwards. Scroll down for photos (we’ll have many more later)…
