THE climax of the Kerry Film Festival took place on Sunday night in Killarney where an awards ceremony took place at the Malton Hotel.
The five day festival featured a number of screenings and special events all over the county, but Killarney was the real base this year, with the cinema there hosting many events.
On an enjoyable evening, the following winners were announced…
• Best Animation – SNOWFALL – Directed by Conor Whelan
• Best Documentary – AONRU – Directed by Dominic de Vere
• Best International Narrative – S T U T T E R E R – Directed by Benjamin Cleary
• Best Irish Narrative – MY BONNIE – Directed by Hannah Quinn
• Best Student Film – COIL – Directed by Stephen Kenny
• Best Original Score – FROG – Directed by Tyler Wallach
• Best of Kerry – CHANGE IN THE WEATHER – Directed by Muiris Crowley
• Audience Award – S T U T T E R E R – Directed by Benjamin Cleary
