IT was a day of celebration at Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn on Friday as former pupils of the school who play, or have played, with Kerry teams helped raise three flags earned by the school.
Jack and Andrew Barry and Jack Morgan were just three of the ten players present who gave a quick training session to the pupils before posing for a photo with the flags.

The first was the White Flag, in recognition of the school’s work as a health promoting school. The Green Flag was achieved as a result of the school’s increased environmental awareness while the Red Flag was presented to the school in recognition of its participation in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme.
With just a week of school to go, the Gaelscoil reflected on a successful year, especially on the sporting front where the boys and girls teams were successful in the Cumann na mBunscoil, while they also won the Comórtas Féile Peile in nGaeltacht a couple of weeks ago.
They also won All-Ireland honours in the Féile Dramaíochta. Scroll down for photos…
