MANY of the contestants for this year’s Kerry Rose contest met up in the Meadowlands Hotel yesterday.
Over 20 ladies from all over the county were briefed by organisers about the event which takes place on May 9 at the Ballyroe Heights Hotel.
The current Kerry Rose, Mary Hickey, was also present to give advice to the ladies who got a chance to get to know each other, as excitement builds for the big event.
