THERE were 21 teams representing around 10 schools from all over the county taking part in the ISTA regional quiz on Thursday night at the south campus at IT Tralee.

Tralee schools were represented by a number of teams from both CBS The Green and Mercy Mounthawk and one of those teams did very well indeed in the Kerry Group sponsored competitions.

Lucy O’Sullivan Michael O’Gara and Tiernan Brosnan representing Mercy Mounthawk finished just one point behind a St Brendan’s Killarney team to finish in second place.
