AWARDS of excellence for supplying the highest quality of milk were presented to twelve Lee Strand farmers at the Lee Strand Milk Quality Awards 2016 last week.
Speaking at the awards at held at Lee Strand, John O’Sullivan, General Manager, commented; “I would like to congratulate the 12 Lee Strand monthly milk quality award winners in 2016. Lee Strand farmers’ commitment to excellence on the farm month after month provides the highest quality milk to our customers in Kerry and beyond.”
The twelve monthly Lee Strand Milk Quality Awards 2016 winners are as follows:

• February: Tommy Culloty, Currovough, Tralee
• March: John Dalton, Listellick, Tralee
• April: John Slattery, Lisloose, Tralee
• May: John, Niall & Carol Mason, Ballyseedy, Tralee
• June: Martin Devane, Blennerville, Tralee
• July: Ivan Groves, Ballyackey, Kielduff, Tralee
• August: John Sayers, Derrymore West, Tralee
• September: Aidan Costelloe, Liscahane, Ardfert
• October: Maurice Costello, Kilgulbin, Ardfert
• November: Florence McCarthy, Banna, Ardfert
• December: Patrick Dillane, Knockanaha, Tralee.
