PARENTS and fifth and sixth class pupils, from schools all over Tralee and beyond, got a great insight into what goes on at two Tralee secondary schools on Thursday night.
The open nights at CBS The Green and Presentation Tralee drew hundreds of visitors and with so much to see at both schools it gave them plenty food for thought.
In CBS The Green, parents were shown around the large school grounds and heard about the range of subjects, saw fun science experiments, heard about sports and extra-curricular activities and even met some little chicks which were hatched at the school a week ago as part of agricultural science class.

Just over the road at Presentation Secondary School, students took small groups of parents on tours of the school. Again, they heard about the wide range of excellent facilities and activities at the school.
The two events were very well organised with both staff and students on hand to answer any and all questions. Scroll down for photos…
