IT’S all systems go for the second annual St Brendan’s Hurling Club’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.

Many of the 22 contestants gathered at Curby’s Bar in Ardfert village for the launch of the event, which takes place in the Ballyroe Heights Hotel on Saturday, December 2. It’s clear they can’t wait to take to the dancefoor, such was the enthusiasm in evidence at Curby’s.

The judges will be revealed on the night but the MC has already been confirmed and it’s none other than Offaly senior football manager and local man, Stephen Wallace.

Tickets are available from club officers and are pretty scarce at the moment so you better get them soon if you want to go. It sold out the last time and the expectation is it will do so again.
