KERRY All-Ireland winning minors and Aidan O’Mahony were on hand last night for the launch of the 2017 Kerry Hospice Christmas cards at Suaimhneas, the Palliative Care Day Care Unit at UHK.
A huge crowd of volunteers from around the county attended and at the end of the night over one hundred boxes of Christmas Cards were transported to different areas in Kerry.
There was much support on the night from local members of the All Ireland Minor Winning team Dylan Casey and Ciarán O’Reilly and Michael Slattery, Austin Stacks and Diarmuid O’Connor and Ryan O’Neill of Na Gaeil.

Dr Bill O’Connor thanked them for bringing the Tom Markham Cup to the Unit and for helping to raise the profile of the Hospice.
Aidan O’Mahony who is now a veteran of the Christmas Card launch was also present. Aidan has done much to promote Kerry Hospice.
Mr Tony Bergin, Communications Manager with Kerry Group, launched the Christmas Cards and said that Kerry Group were pleased to continue to support the hospice and felt in so doing they were supporting the wider community.
Music was once again provided by the O’Shea brothers. Dr Billy O’Connor thanked the artists for their ongoing support — Jane Hilliard, Niamh Moriarty, Robert Ashe and Phil Daly — all of whom gave their art free of charge.
