OVER 130 Mercy Mounthawk students celebrated the end of their year with an awards ceremony held in the school on Wednesday night.
Individual awards were handed out to around 60 students with the Student of the Year awards going to Ali Feely and Liam O’Leary.
Over the course of the year TY students at Mercy Mounthawk won the John Hooper national award for statistical analysis and the TY students also won an award at the Bord Gáis Energy Student Theatre Awards.
Students also launched their own Credit Union in the school, slept out overnight to raise awareness for the homeless crisis, held a Christmas Fashion Show and many more events in a very productive year.
