IF you’re looking for something different to go to over the next couple of nights, then head to the Ballymac Bar for some pub theatre.

The bar in Boherbee hosted the opening night of ‘Much Ado About The Bard’ on Thursday where punters enjoyed two comedy plays related to the works of William Shakespeare.

It was a highly entertaining evening in the back of the bar as director Frank Houlihan and his troupe of actors put on ‘Ruby Of Elsinore’ and ‘The Case Of A Tale Told By An Idiot’, both written by Bruce Kane.

The audience really enjoyed it and you can see the plays run on Friday and Saturday at 8pm. Admission is €8. Scroll down for photos…
