WHO had a No.1 hit with ‘The One And Only’? What film featured Maria McKee’s No.1 song ‘Show Me Heaven’?
These were just two of the questions asked at a music table quiz at the Na Gaeil Club on Friday night. There was a great turnout for it too and the proceeds went to Recovery Haven and for local teenager, Megan Tearle’s fund for her to take part in the Youth Music Theatre Company production of ‘Wild 2018’.
“She auditioned and got a part in Wild in the Barbican Theatre in Plymouth this August,” said her dad Paul, who many people in town as a photographer with Kerry’s Eye, currently on leave due to illness.

Unfortunately Paul won’t be able to see 15 year old Megan’s big performance as he will having treatment in late August, but some of her family will make the trip.
A fund has been set up to cover her production fees, flights and accommodation during the two weeks of rehearsals till showtime.
Megan is a member of the Bryan Carr’s School Of Performing Arts and many of her friends were present to help her out at the quiz, where there were loads of spot prizes donated by local businesses on a great night.
